PRICING FOR PAINTINGS, CHARACTER PORTRAITS, AND MORE!!
Even though I do a lot of character portraits for players of Ultima Online, I do not limit myself to that. This price list is for the work I do in general. This ranges in just about anything, although my specialties are horses and horse types as well as dragons. I am practicing all the time and am getting better at people, but I am still not satisfied with my work. :(
These prices are a baseline and may be adjusted due to the cost of supplies. Higher priced items mean more work is involved. Also I can do work on special papers or items shipped to me to paint on. On my native style art (I make a distinction here--I'm not Native American), I use only natural materials. NO PLASTIC. I also do not use illegal materials. I have recently found good suppliers for similated eagle feathers and the like. I do use furs and leathers when a project calls for it. Beadwork cost is figured by the individual piece. I can give you a rough estimate on a custom order, but that will not be the final price. I also paint nudes--but must be for customers 18 years or older.

Walking sticks are made from either popel or willow. Sometimes from whatever stray wood I can find on my land. All are hand sanded, burned, painted, and finished with 5 to 6 coats of hardwood floors finish. My dance sticks get the same treatment and both may take 6 months to a year to finish. 1/2 cost upfront is expected on these items before work begins due to the amount of work.
